Basel will host Germany’s Bayern Munich on 22-2-2012 when the first leg of their group-of-16 Champions League tie kicks off at St. Jakob Park in Basel.
Bayern Munich beat Basel 2-1 in Switzerland back in September of 2010 in the Champions League and followed it up with a 3-0 win at home. Schweinsteiger scored both of the goals.
